Au Canada, deux
écoles offrent le programme de doctorat en chiropratique (D.C.), soit le
Canadian Memorial Chiropratic College (CMCC) à Toronto, et l'Université du
Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR). Plusieurs universités américaines et
européennes offrent aussi le programme. Certaines insitutions exigent un
minimum de 2 ans universitaires ou même un baccalauréat avant d'appliquer au
doctorat.
Le doctorat de
chiropratique (D.C.) est d'une durée de 5 ans avec des stages
cliniques/internat à la dernière année, avec un total de 245 crédits. La
réussite de plusieurs examens nationaux et provinciaux est nécessaire avant de
pouvoir pratiquer. Le permis de radiologie est délivré seulement aux détenteurs
de formations adéquates.
Les chiropraticiens
suivent aussi des cours de formation continue obligatoire à chaque année pour
permettre d'être à jour sur les nouvelles technologies et outils diagnostiques
dans le domaine de la santé, pour ainsi mieux aider leurs patients.
In Canada, two
schools offer the doctor of chiropractic (D.C.) program, the Canadian Memorial
Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, and the Université du Québec à

program. Some chiropractic colleges require a minimum of 2 years of college or
university or even a bachelor's degree prior to the admission of the doctorate
program.

chiropractic education is a 5 years program, with one full year
clinical/training/intership with a total of 245 credits. Successful completion
of numerous national and provincial exams is mandatory in order to practice.
The radiology license is only delivered to those that have adequate training.
The
chiropractors must also follow mandatory continued education each year to stay
up-to-date with new technologies and diagnostic tools in health care, so they
